After the Storm

Beautiful afternoon storm had just went through the area, there was a soft rain hitting the marsh. Looking out over the rain soaked marsh flats, I discovered the anchor point of my composition in a distant piece of diftwood. Using the tree to my left covered in spanish moss, the screen came alive with detail. The key to this capture would be maintaining foreground detail while catching the suttle light fading off the clouds in the distance.
